Thank you for being an active part of our community. Your contributions and engagement are what make our discussions so enriching. Looking forward to another week of shared learning and growth.

I totally get the challenge of making simulations engaging. We found that integrating realistic patient scenarios really boosted student involvement, especially when we added a time constraint — students had to make decisions quickly, simulating real-life pressure. It’s a game-changer for their ethical decision-making skills.

I totally get what you mean about the dosing for small mammals; I’ve found that using a micro-syringe can really help with precision. Also, it’s crucial to have those animals in a warmer environment pre-op, as their metabolism can slow down significantly if they’re cold. I’d love to hear how others manage to monitor their vitals during anesthesia — always a tricky part.

Realistic training scenarios really make a difference. We implemented low-fidelity mannequins in our simulations last semester, and it helped students engage more, especially with ethical decision-making. I think incorporating real-life ethical dilemmas could add to the realism; curious about how others are tackling that. @amir_nurse34, what do you think?
