AR overlay pilot in code blue sim

We ran a 20-minute cardiac arrest scenario last Friday using HoloLens 2 for rhythm overlays and LLEAP 8.6 synced to SimCapture, and students reduced pulse-check pauses by about 6 seconds on average. For those doing similar integrations, how are you validating the headset telemetry against your checklists and folding it into debrief timing without overwhelming faculty?

We validate with a 3‑minute “alignment drill”: metronome on, run compressions, then compare HoloLens pause/rhythm timestamps to a stopwatch and the LLEAP/SimCapture CSV export, tagging the debrief timeline to your checklist IDs. To keep faculty sane, we cap overlays to two cues and let one tech drive the AR during debrief — otherwise it becomes a HUD fireworks show. Are you exporting events to CSV and auto‑matching “pulse-check pause” to the checklist, or hand-coding in SimCapture?

Nice bump on the ‘6 seconds’. We time-lock HoloLens 2, LLEAP 8.6, and SimCapture to the same NTP server and do a 1‑second clap sync at start, then auto-spit a debrief strip that flags >10 s pulse checks and shock‑to‑compressions gaps so faculty only review three timestamps. Works cleanly for a 20‑minute run; caveat is HoloLens clock drift, so re‑sync between runs, @lucia_m87.

We added a 60‑second preflight “latency sweep” that triggers a dummy rhythm flip and chest‑sensor toggle, then labels HoloLens/LLEAP/SimCapture as green/yellow/red and sets a ±0.1 s match window so debrief shows one line per event with optional drill‑down. Keeps faculty load low — think quick flight check, not a data audit — would a small on‑screen “confidence score” per metric help your team, @t_chen88?
