Engaging Students in Clinical Simulations

I’ve been exploring ways to enhance student engagement during clinical simulations, and it’s clear that active learning strategies make a significant difference. One approach I’ve found effective is using debriefing sessions to encourage reflection and dialogue afterwards. I’m curious about what methods others have successfully implemented to foster an interactive learning environment during these critical experiences.

I’ve found that incorporating simulation games really boosts engagement. Just recently, I used a role-playing scenario where students had to make quick decisions based on patient reactions. It sparked some great discussions during debriefing, especially around decision-making under pressure. Have any of you tried gamifying your simulations?
